Hartford Colonials Logo & Colors Debut

Yesterday morning the Hartford Colonials team colors and logos debuted. The team colors are dark blue, metallic gold, and light blue. You can see how the logo looks, it's a lot different than the logos we saw last year (even though they were all designed by the same team). It features an eagle whose wings form the shape of an "H" that is holding a football.

Initial reaction from fans are positive, and most think that the logo is classy and a step up from the logos from last year. There's a few fans though that think that the art-deco sunburst makes the logo look to busy, and that the splitting of the word Hartford looks awkward.

There are more versions of the logo available on the UFL website that feature a stripped down version which features 13 stars which are probably an homage to the 13 colonies. The helmet stripe also features 13 stars. The helmet is metallic gold, and the uniforms have yet to be debuted. If you'd like to see all of the logos and a preview of the Colonials' helmet click here.
